Magalies Spring Tournament

Magalies Spring Tournament.

Although we are in the trows of winter it does not hurt to think about the lovely sunny days of spring that will inevitably be approaching in due course. With that happy day in mind, we are proud to present another fantastic event with the knights. This tournament is a independent event that will bring lots of excitement and clashing of swords to the Trading post.

We will be cooking traditional fare, lots of mead wine and chunks of meat and home made breads to celebrate this wonderful sport. So keep the date of the 25th of August in your calendar and join us in the cheering on of all the opponents that will be fighting for their honor.

Mother’s Day Lunch

May all the mothers and their families enjoy a blessed and peaceful mother’s day. At Trading Post Coffee Shop we have a very special Mother’s day lunch. Lamb and Red Wine stew with new potatoes, Roasted Rosemary Garlic beetroot, butternut and sweet potato, gem squash and fried cabbage. For dessert a freshly baked malva pudding with homemade custard or ice cream. At R145 pp it also includes a special mother’s day gift
